Ackerman Middle School

Student peace advocate Amanda McLean addressed the Canby Kiwanis at their lunch meeting this last week. McLean explained how the combined efforts of SPA, Builders Club, WEB, and student leadership are contributing to create a school culture that results in a campus that is safe, secure, and welcome for everyone. Kiwanis were very impressed with the overall success of Ackerman efforts to establish a school culture that is free of fighting, harassment, and other typical middle school behaviors.
